Mandarin plant

Mandarin plant bought from the Ministry of Agriculture. This was grafted, so I was hoping it would start fruiting soon :) or atleast would have been way taller than what it is.

The top right section has vetiver(vativa) grass is doing slightly better.

Hope these 2 friends are able to live a long fruitful life :)

Mushroom forest walk - Post Cyclone Winston

Went for a hike and swim today. Here are some of the mushrooms growing in the forest due to a large number of fallen trees - creating a favorable growing environment.

The 3 images below have mushrooms that were slimy looking. They were covered in some sort of "gel" like substance.

The picture below is a blurry one - it is a zoom in of the log pictured above.

These shade cloths are the best thing since tree shade for tiny fragile plants.

These little babies are not plants, but they needed an honorable mention. ^.^
